Scrumbscious Pie Company relocates to Mesquite

Leaving Sunnyvale behind.

— If you’re a pie lover, then a new restaurant that recently moved to Mesquite is sure to tickle your fancy – sCRUMBScious Pie Company. Located at 1151 East Davis Street in Mesquite, sCRUMBScious Pie Company is the brainchild and labor of love for owners Sherry and Chris Howard, Married for 17 years, Chris and Sherry decided to translate Sherry’s passion and lifetime love of baking and pie making into a business plan, and created sCRUMBScious Pie Company.

Originally began as a specialty pie company, sCRUMBScious is known for its pies (crème, fruit and savory pies), as well as ready-made filling, which now total more than 20 flavors and varieties, not including her savory pies/quiches. From that original concept, the owners decide to open a storefront and add burgers and fries to the menu, and developed their unique version and take of a PIE SHAKE (yep, pie shake…Blue Bell Ice Cream with a pie thrown in). With their recent move to Mesquite, they’ve gained a larger kitchen and seating area, and have other exciting ideas in the works for expanding their hours and serving options into other areas like new breakfast offerings and a fried pie category (including breakfast, savory and dessert varieties).

In honor of National Pie Day, sCRUMBScious Pie Company will be offering a free slice of pie with any order of a burger and fries on Monday, January 24 (as they are closed on Sundays). Can you imagine a better place to celebrate National Pie Day than heading to Mesquite, Texas, and eating at a sCRUMBScious Pie Company?
