35 Conferette announces THE lineup for the March 10-13 show
The caliber (and amount) of DFW and Denton bands playing is simply amazing.
We've been updating you each week as the 35 Conferette adds more and more impressive bands to their roster. Well, after the debut of their new website and new video, they've unleashed THE list on us. And what a list it is. Pay special attention to the massive amount of DFW and Denton bands who made the cut.
For those new to the 35 Conferette, it was previously called NX35. The several-day festival has brought great acts to the DFW area -- including The Flaming Lips for 2010's show -- but it never before rivaled the bigger festivals to our south, like Austin City Limits of SXSW. But 2011's impressive lineup, full of big national acts as well as tons of local gems, is giving those bigger festivals a run for their money.
Some of the notable DFW-based additions to the 35 Conferette lineup are Seryn, HOYOTOHO, The Beaten Sea, and Novaak, all of which Pegasus News has written about recently. But, the full cast of characters packs a punch.
