Video: Reality show Texas Women premieres Thursday on CMT
It features four women with roots in North Texas.
Move over, Dallas. Step aside, Most Eligible: Dallas and Big Rich Texas. Yet another Texas-themed reality show is making its debut. Texas Women premieres Thursday at 9 p.m. CT on CMT.
It appears that women in Texas have a lifestyle worth documenting, yes?
Texas Women features four ladies, and all have lived in the North Texas area at one time:
- Stock contractor Anna Hunt now lives in Henryetta, Okla., but lived in Fort Worth during filming.
- Professional barrel racer Brooke Jeter (married to bareback rider Jason Jeter) lives in Mansfield.
- Self-proclaimed trust-fund baby Hannah Helvey lives in Whitesboro.
- Ali Dee, host for the Dallas Mavericks, lives in Granbury.
According to the schedule, Episode 1 involves a catfight!
Meet the ladies in the promo video below:

casting went like this: "Hey, I have 4 friends that will do just about anything for free drinks!" "Great, hired, now get me my soy latte and shut the hell up!"

The comment my St, anonymous is funny as hell but I feel the same way. Why did they not have a casting call for more classier people then those four.

Cole, go to hell. I have met a LOT of North Texas woman that are just like the four on this show. I was hoping that this might be slightly higher quality reality but it's not. I will add this to my list of "Way to Stupid to Watch" tv series. Maybe someday they will choose people that don't whine and fight ALL the TIME. But, that seems to be what America likes to watch these days.

It's funny how Texans think they're looked favorably upon by the rest of the nation.... but if they ever left Texas they're realize that the rest of us laugh at you. Only in Texas would someone like Rick Perry be elected 3 times. Presidential bid? The residents of the other 49 states were paying attention and don't think it was "cool" that you now want to be President of a country that you didn't want your state to be part of.
We wish you had seceded

Why would we leave Texas other than to get away from the Californians?

Sarah Blaskovich, staff:
Jason, if Texans leave Texas, they should in fact head straight to California. There's In-N-Out there, and isn't that all you need? :p

Uncle Barky says:
"Any or all of these four women may in fact be likable, nice and even intelligent. But you couldn't prove that after watching the first episode of Texas Women. Brooke appears to have the intellect of a cactus plant, Hannah comes off as a slow-on-the-draw skank and Anna's thoroughly full of herself. Ali fares the best as a seemingly decent enough singer who perhaps deserves better than the company of these three."
He has a lot more to say, and it's all worth a read.

I'm a Texas Woman....born and raised...and so are all my close girlfriends. We have a hell of alot more fun than these girls. I've heard that only 1 of them is actually from TEXAS!!! REALLY???!!!! We don't fight amongst ourselves. We go to Fort Worth and have a great time at Cadillac. These girls wouldn't know TEXAS if it bit them on the ass. My friends and I are all educated and have careers as well. We don't have to manufacture cat fights and caddy little episodes to have fun or have something to watch. I'm seriously upset that CMT is trying to pass this bunch off as real Texas Women. SAD.

Totally agree that this is not what REAL Texas women are like. I liked the show a little bit until I found out that they are NOT from Texas...that was pretty crappy! I'll not be watching it anymore. There are plenty of good lookin', awesome Texas women that are actually from Texas...no need to fake it.

I'm from massachusetts and was curious about texas women, but after watching the show 2 or 3 times, these girls aren't even mentioning by there first names. One has the most annoying voice in the world and an education of a 6th grader. The tall skinny ignorant " trust fund gal" needs every bit of that money since she will never make a dollar on her own with that arrogant attitude. Atleast the girl that that works as a cattle broker, works hard and seems cool. I would like to think she represents texas the best out of this group of girls. I'm not one to even take the time to post or write these comments but this show is awful. Ross webster Mass

Really really sad. I am so sorry these girls need money so bad that they have to lower themselves to this level. you can't get acting jobs in California. Texas women should run you out of Texas.

Uh, Codog2000, Please educate yourself before you speak for the other 49 states. If you would you'd realize there is more than 50 states voting in the election. I guess they didn't teach you that Hawaii is part of the U.S. I am from one of the other states and I think Rick Perry would be a great president. Are you just jealous he has the balls to stand up for whats right. By the way he created lots of jobs...
