Preview: Sarah Jaffe’s new album, The Way Sound Leaves a Room
The disc comes out this fall.

Denton singer/songwriter Sarah Jaffe was featured on Mashable on Monday with a short story and a video previewing her upcoming album, The Way Sound Leaves a Room. (According to Vimeo, the video has been up for a month; this is the first we'd seen it.)
Jaffe is joined in the clip by Robert Gomez, who says her style has grown outside of "just" folk music. Jaffe calls the new album "a modest step in a new direction."
Jaffe said she's played practically every Dallas venue possible, and she singled out the Wyly Theatre as an exciting place to perform. Her Wyly show in February was one of the first glimpses we had into her new album.
Look out for The Way Sounds Leaves a Room in the fall. I bet we'll tell you more about it as the date draws near.
