DART adds extra trains on Monday for Fair Park Fourth

FAIR PARK — If you're headed to Fair Park for their Fourth of July fireworks show on Monday, DART wants to help you get there. Four extra light rail trains will run between the Parker Road station in Plano and the Fair Park station in Dallas between 7:20 and 8:50 p.m. Trains will run every 20 minutes.

In addition, an extra train will depart the North Carrollon/Frankford station at 8:11 p.m. and stop at Fair Park and MLK, Jr. stations.

People traveling on the Red or Blue Lines should transfer to the Green Line at Pearl Station to get to Fair Park.

Note that DART will run on a Sunday schedule on Monday because it is a holiday. The TRE is closed on Monday.
