Forest Hill mayor, councilman banned from parts of own city hall following fight

And you thought your local politicians were crazy.

One can only hope the Forest Hill City Hall Throwdown will earn its own artistic depiction.

Politics can often get nasty, but rarely do they come to actual fisticuffs. That's not the case in Forest Hill, however. Following a throwdown between Mayor James Gosey and Councilman Damian Dalcour on March 9, both men have been banned from certain areas of the Forest Hill City Hall, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Dalcour is only allowed to attend city council meetings, while Gosey, who was already suspended from the city council following an earlier incident between the two men, may only go to public areas of the building, not including the council chambers. If either one of them violates the ban, they will be charged with criminal trespass. According to the Star-Telegram, the two have a long history of feuding, including Gosey accusing Dalcour of being mentally unstable and suicidal. Gosey got a mental health warrant against Dalcour, something he's threatening to do again following their recent fight.

By the way, Forest Hill is one of several cities squeezed between Fort Worth and Arlington and has all of 14,000+ citizens. As Rodney King said, can't we all just get along?
