HOV lane on I-30 will have special operating hours for Rangers games this weekend


Traffic will be stacked regardless, but perhaps the extended hours will help.

— According to DART, I-30's HOV lane will have special operating hours because of the season's first Texas Rangers games this weekend.

Friday, April 1:

Texas Rangers vs. Boston Red Sox at Rangers Ballpark, start time: 3:05 p.m.

  • The lane will be open westbound from 1-8 p.m.
  • The westbound T-Ramp is open from 1-3 p.m.
  • The eastbound T-Ramp from Legends Way to west of Dallas-Tarrant County Line only is open from 5:30-8 p.m. or until traffic subsides.

Saturday, April 2:

Texas Rangers vs. Boston Red Sox at Rangers Ballpark, start time: 7:05 p.m.

Monster Energy AMA Supercross at Cowboys Stadium, start time: 7 p.m.

  • The lane will be open westbound from 4-7 p.m.
  • The lane will be open eastbound from 10 p.m.-12 a.m. or until traffic subsides.

Sunday, April 3:

Texas Rangers vs. Boston Red Sox at Rangers Ballpark, start time: 1:05 p.m.

  • The lane will be open westbound from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • The lane will be open eastbound from 4-6 p.m. or until traffic subsides.

Westbound entrances: Sylvan Avenue, Loop 12 and west of Dallas-Tarrant County Line.

Westbound exits: West of Dallas-Tarrant County Line and T-Ramp at Legends Way/Baird Farm Road.

Eastbound entrances: T-Ramp at Legends Way/Baird Farm Road and west of Dallas-Tarrant County Line (On Fri, Apr 1, entrance only at the T-Ramp).

Eastbound exits: West of Dallas-Tarrant County Line, Loop 12 and Cockrell Hill Road (On Fri, Apr 1, exit only at west of Dallas-Tarrant County Line).
