The Texas Rangers are headed to their second consecutive World Series. The team faces the St. Louis Cardinals in a best-of-seven match-up that begins at St. Louis' Busch Stadium on Wednesday, October 19. Games 3, 4, and potentially 5 of the World Series will be at the Rangers Ballpark at Arlington.

"It will be a monumental meeting of momentum, for these are two clubs that got -- and stayed -- hot at precisely the right point in the calendar, riding those good vibes all the way to the Promised Land," writes MLB reporter Anthony Castrovince.

The Rangers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays and the Detroit Tigers to get to the series. The Cardinals defeated the Philadelphia Phillies and the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Rangers have never won a World Series. The Cardinals have won 10, the most of any National League team, with their last win in 2006.

The schedule is:

All the games will air on FOX.
