Concerts in Dallas-Fort Worth worth your watch: Record Store Day edition
Also: Earth Day.
It's Earth Day this weekend, but we're also psyched about Record Store Day. Free live music, special releases, and free beer? Count us in!
Thursday
It is five o’clock somewhere, but when Jimmy Buffett and his Coral Reefer Band are involved, it's five o’clock all the time. On Thursday night, Buffet brings his margarita-soaked tunes to the Gexa Energy Pavilion. Be ready to kick back, relax, and enjoy the laid-back music of the Caribbean king.
Friday
Texas native Ben Kweller makes a return to the Granada stage on Friday night, and he's sure to play some old tunes plus some new ones from his recent album, Go Fly a Kite. The album is Kweller’s first release on his own record label. Joining him for the ride are Sleeper Agent and DFW band The Orbans.
