Thursday

It is five o’clock somewhere, but when Jimmy Buffett and his Coral Reefer Band are involved, it's five o’clock all the time. On Thursday night, Buffet brings his margarita-soaked tunes to the Gexa Energy Pavilion. Be ready to kick back, relax, and enjoy the laid-back music of the Caribbean king.

Friday

Texas native Ben Kweller makes a return to the Granada stage on Friday night, and he's sure to play some old tunes plus some new ones from his recent album, Go Fly a Kite. The album is Kweller’s first release on his own record label. Joining him for the ride are Sleeper Agent and DFW band The Orbans.

At Sons of Hermann Hall, one heck of a local show includes Ryan Thomas Becker & Last Joke, Whiskey Folk Ramblers, and Fox and the Bird. Folk music will run folks rampant, as each band brings their own version of Americana to the historic wooden ballroom.

Saturday

Record Store Day turns 5 on Saturday. The special day celebrates the art of music and the stores that sell it. Several mom-and-pop stores in Dallas-Fort Worth will host live music all day long, plus special music releases, discounts, and food and drink.
