Bon Appetit magazine's 50-deep list of Best New Restaurant nominees is out, and two D-FW restaurants made the cut: Oak in Dallas’ Design District and chef Tim Love’s Woodshed Smokehouse in Fort Worth.

DMN restaurant critic Leslie Brenner gave Oak and chef Jason Maddy a four-star review earlier this year. Woodshed, reviewed in April, received three stars.

Five other Texas restaurants made the list: Elizabeth Street Cafe and Lenoir in Austin, and Oxheart, Uchi, and Underbelly in Houston.

The list of 50 is leading up to the magazine’s final Hot 10 list, which will be revealed next week. We’ll let you know if Oak or Woodshed makes the cut.
