State Fair of Texas tickets available for a discount until Friday
Early birds will get a season pass for $34.95.
FAIR PARK — As you turn your calendars to opening day of the State Fair of Texas -- and prepare your hearts for some serious fried food -- you should know that cheap season passes are only available at their current rate until Friday, August 31.
The fair runs September 28 through October 21.
Until Friday, a season pass is $34.95 instead of $39.95. For regular State Fair goers, that's a deal. A regular-priced ticket will set you back $16 for an adult, $12 for kids or seniors, which means that if you, an adult, plan on going to the fair more than two times, you should invest in a season pass.
The season pass means unlimited visits to the 2012 fair, plus a few other perks like one free companion ticket, which can be used on one date during the 2012 fair.
