Dallas ranks as one of “least sinful” cities in U.S.
Put another way: "liars."
DALLAS The City of Sin isn't Las Vegas, if a new online dating site called whatsyourprice.com is to believed: It's New York City. A survey asked people in each city to divulge how many of the seven deadly sins he or she had committed, and how frequently. The data includes 1,000 people from Dallas and 1,000 from Houston.
Houston ranks up there with the wicked, as the No. 11th most sinful city. And bless their hearts, Dallas made the list of "least sinful cities," at No. 7 out of 10.
Cities with the most people who committed a deadly sin more than three times a week made the sinful list. Said another way: The people who live in cities on the "least sinful list" are potentially just liars. That's a sin. Anyway.
The God-fearing folks in Dallas sure do appreciate being rewarded for their good deeds. It's good for our ego (or would that qualify as one of the seven deadly sins, pride?)
Whatsyourprice.com is the same site that published a not-so-scientific survey about the perfect Dallas woman, finding her brunette with hazel eyes, a social drinker who doesn’t smoke, and a college graduate with a bachelor’s degree. The survey even put dollar values on each asset. I'm seeing some lust and greed here in Dallas. But who are we to judge?
Here's the cities on the "least sinful" list:
- 1. Memphis, TN
- 2. Louisville, KT
- 3. Tampa, FL
- 4. Baltimore, MD
- 5. Detroit, MI
- 6. Scottsdale, AZ
- 7. Dallas, TX
- 8. Richmond, VA
- 9. New Orleans, LA
- 10. St. Louis, MS
And the sin list:
- 1. New York City, NY
- 2. Chicago, IL
- 3. Boston, MA
- 4. Los Angeles, CA
- 5. Las Vegas, NV
- 6. Pittsburgh, PA
- 7. Seattle, WA
- 8. Miami, FL
- 9. San Francisco, CA
- 10. Birmingham, AL
- 11. Houston, TX
- 12. Cincinnati, OH
- 13. Charlotte, NC
- 14. Washington, D.C.
- 16. Orlando, FL

I doubt New York would move down the list any if I moved back, but I bet I could get Dallas off that sin-free list if I moved back.
