Video: Witness says Josh Brent was not a hero in Cowboys crash
The witness and Josh Brent's attorney disagree on what happened after the deadly event.
In a video posted by the Dallas Morning News, a witness who was on the scene of the car crash involving Cowboys players Josh Brent and now-deceased Jerry Brown Jr. believes Brent could have done more to help his teammate.
Stacee McWilliams of Irving says she "commanded" Brent several times to help Brown, who she did not realize was inside the burning, upside-down car until she heard Brown screaming for help. After he was pulled out of the car, McWilliams said Brown was "moving his arms just a little bit, moving his head just a little bit" and she thought he was still alive. Then she said Brent "disappeared."
McWilliams' account differs from what police told Brent's attorney, the DMN reports. See the video below, and see the full story here.
