While Christmas may evoke images of families gathered around the table for festive feasts, not every Dallasite celebrates the holiday, and others who do may prefer less-traditional ways to spend the days surrounding December 25. A number of restaurants are not only open on Christmas Eve and Day, but are also offering incredible holiday deals for locals of every faith, schedule, and budget. Here's a rundown of some of the best offerings from Dallas' finest establishments.
Highland Park Cafeteria has provided an ongoing Christmas feast from December 24 through January 1 since 1925. Enjoy eggnog, mulled cider, lucky black-eyed peas, mincemeat pie, and other holiday-inspired favorites for $10.99 - $15.99.

Arthur's Prime Steaks and Seafood: Enjoy a Christmas Eve three-course dinner with dancing to live music, or Christmas Day lunch or dinner featuring live guitar music. The three-course menu features soup or salads, entrées (such as pork tenderloin, rainbow trout, Norwegian salmon, filet mignon and New York strip) and a choice of desserts. Canary by Gorji: Chef Mansour Gorji will serve a three-course dinner on Christmas night that includes mixed field greens salad, turkey or pork chops with pomegranate citrus sauce, pistachio fig dressing, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and pumpkin or pecan pie. Cru Wine Bar: The three-course Christmas Eve dinner includes an appetizer, entrée and dessert. Highlights from the menu include tortellini fonduta, ahi tartare, soup or salad to start; entrees such as filet mignon, sea bass, lamb chops or sea scallops; and a choice of lemon curd tart, molten chocolate lava cake or crème brûlée for dessert. Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak Houses: Simplify Christmas preparations by ordering to-go side dishes. Chateau potatoes, potatoes au gratin, spinach supreme, maque choux corn and lobster mac and cheese are available for purchase in three sizes that can serve from one to eight people, ranging in price from $11 to $46. Del Frisco's Grille proves that Christmas isn't just for kids with their special Ginger Snap, made from Domaine de Canton, fresh sour mix, and Prosecco with a cinnamon-sugar rim.
Del Frisco's Grille: Roasted garlic mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and chipotle three-cheese mac and cheese are available to go in three sizes that can serve from one to eight people. Del Frisco’s Grille’s Naughty and Nice Holiday Party will feature two custom $8 cocktails for the evening: the Naughty “Other Mrs. Claus” or the Nice “Santa’s Little Helper”; $8 VIPs, $5 Honey Badgers, and $6 cheesesteak eggrolls. Guests are encouraged to wear holiday attire and to pose in photo booths (festive props provided). Proceeds from raffles and a silent and live auction will benefit Bryan’s House. DFW Airport Marriott: A Christmas Champagne brunch will be served in the Grand Ballroom and feature a variety of food stations with breakfast items, an omelet and waffle station, appetizers, salads, carving stations, entrees and desserts. Dec. 25 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at DFW Airport Marriott Irving, 8440 Freeport Parkway, Irving. $39 adults, $33 seniors ages 55 and older, $16 children from 7-12 years old, free for children 6 and under. Ferre Ristorante: The three-course Italian dinner includes a choice of salads, ravioli, jumbo asparagus or crab cakes; followed by New York strip steak, duck breast, wild East Coast scallops, short rib tortelloni, Chilean sea bass or oven-baked chicken breast. The Gin Mill: Celebrate Boxing Day with a special brunch that includes mimosa and Bloody Mary drink specials, eggs Norwegian, potato pancakes with smoked salmon, brioche French toast, buttermilk griddle pancakes and house-made crepes. Grain at the Hilton Park Cities: Christmas Day Champagne Brunch includes made-to-order omelets, eggs Benedict and other breakfast fare, in addition to prime rib, turkey breast, glazed ham, salmon, stuffed chicken breast, shrimp, salads, fruit, cheese, vegetables, cakes, pies and petit fours. Sparkling wine, coffee and juice will also be served. Twisted Root Burger: Chef Jason Boso has created a special holiday burger available throughout December called “Wreck the Halls.” It’s made with an all-beef patty, Swiss and cheddar cheeses, chipotle ranch dressing, a fried egg, jalapenos and two strips of bacon on a sesame-seed bun. Wash it down with an eggnog milkshake, which is also available throughout the month. $9.99 for the burger; $4.99 for the eggnog milkshake.
