UPDATED: 2012 Super Bowl commercials online for your viewing pleasure
Including a Mark Cuban controversy!
For many people, the anticipation of the Super Bowl is not so much the game, but the commercials. Ads that run during the Super Bowl cost quite a few pretty pennies (reportedly $3.5 million per 30 seconds this year), and with that comes high expectations from both the companies paying that high price and consumers looking to be entertained.
UPDATE: According to the current stats of a USA Today poll, only one of the ads posted in advance of the Super Bowl made the top five (The Dog Strikes Back, at #5). Two Doritos ads and a Bud Light one comprise the top three. See the full ads below:
Doritos® - Sling Baby
Bud Light - Rescue Dog Weego
Doritos® - Man’s Best Friend
And here's the full Skechers ad (currently rating at #6) "starring" Mark Cuban, though why he's in it is somewhat of a mystery, given that he only has a throwaway line at the very end:

A Best Buy ad, which didn't prove that popular (#41), also has a local connection, as the creators of McKinney-based Words with Friends make a cameo, complete with a reference to Alec Baldwin's WWF brouhaha on a plane:

Original story posted before the Super Bowl:
More than a few companies have decided to forgo actually waiting until game time to let people see their ads, choosing to post them online days in advance. With YouTube videos proliferating more than ever before, releasing ads early may actually be a smart idea, as it gets people talking for more time than just during and directly after the game.
Below are some of the bigger ads that have already been released, including the already-buzzed about Ferris Bueller ad. These versions may or may not be the ones you see on Sunday, though -- many of them take advantage of the freedom of the internet and run for longer than your usual 30 seconds or one minute. Unfortunately, the full Skechers ad starring Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, which has already garnered some controversy for filming at a greyhound racing track, is not online yet; a teaser can be seen by clicking here.
