Part 2 of Khloe & Lamar Season 2 premiere: Still no sign of Big D
Just waiting for the onslaught of Dallas to seep in.
DALLAS Khloe & Lamar, the reality show starring new Dallas residents Lamar and Khloe Kardashian Odom, had the second part of its two-part premiere on Monday, picking up where part 1 left off: with Khloe counseling friends and family members in her orbit, but still no word about the impending Dallas move.
If Lamar Odom seems edgy on the show as he awaits the outcome of the NBA lockout, it's nothing compared to our wait for the moment when he learns he's been traded from Los Angeles to Dallas.
Plot Point #1 is the romance that her friend/assistant Malika is having with newly separated Adrian Wilson, of the Arizona Cardinals. Once again, Khloe is the wise sage giving good advice -- "keep your eyes open," she says -- and by show's end, Malika breaks it off.
Plot Point #2 is Lamar's inconsistent sleep schedule. Without a schedule of games to attend, his sleeping patterns are all over the map, and he's taking Khloe down with him. He keeps her up practically all night before a photo shoot she's slated to do with her sisters for their jeans line. She yawns her way through the entire shoot.
To make Lamar sleepy, she tries various schemes: gives him milk, massage, sound machine, eye-masks, and even tries to sneak melatonin in his tea. On her MIX 102.9 radio show on Monday, she described herself as a bit like Lucille Ball, and that's exactly how she comes off with her playful, sometimes hair-brained schemes. In the end, Lamar tries to be more thoughtful about making sure that Khloe gets some sleep.
