UPDATED: North Texas bands make SXSW 2012 lineup
SXSW's music fest is shaping up to be a great week for DFW bands.
SXSW is only a couple of months away – almost time to start packing your skinny jeans and Toms – so we thought we should catch you up on all of the local acts on the bill so far. DFW bands were pretty scarce on the announced bands list, but an update in mid-February shows that there are plenty local musicians on the bill for the March 13–18 festival.
Current invitees come from all over North Texas and represent an adequate amount of genres, including folk, hip-hop, indie, and R&B.
