iPic Theaters in Fairview wants your short film submissions


The winner receives $4,000.

The first-ever iPic Members Film Festival offers iPic members the opportunity to submit a 2-6 minute film featuring the theme "Earth Preservation." Films can be submitted on your local iPic Facebook page.

The iPic Theater in North Texas is in Fairview.

Fans will vote for their favorite films on their local iPic Facebook page, and the top 240 films will be screened locally on March 28, April 4, and April 11. From there, an audience will vote for their favorite film, and an panel of judges will also cast their vote. The top 16 films will be screened April 20 at iPic theaters, go through another round of judging, and the winner will be announced on Earth Day, April 22.

The winning film will be featured before movies at all iPic Theaters for a month. The winner receives $4,000. The first runner-up will get a $250 iPic gift card; the second will get a $150 gift card.

Dates:

  • January 7 – February 10: Videos submitted
  • February 15 – March 14: First round of voting
  • March 28 – April 11: Festival begins and second round of voting
  • March 28, April 4, April 11: Finalists Film Festival
  • April 20: Finalists Film Screening and third round of voting
  • April 22 (Earth Day): Winner announced
