Paula Deen and Bobby Flay fire it up in Dallas September 22 and 23
This is the show's first time in Dallas.
DALLAS Paula Deen is coming to Dallas, y'all. And she's bringing the equally-as-famous chef Bobby Flay with her.
Sponsored by The Dallas Morning News, the Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show is September 22 and 23 at the Dallas Convention Center. It's the first Dallas show, and celebuchefs Deen and Flay will do presentations and meet-and-greets with fans.
Additionally, Dallas chefs will show their skills during cooking demonstrations: Stephan Pyles (Stephan Pyles, Samar), Tre Wilcox (Village Marquee Texas Grill & Bar), Richard Chamberlain (Chamberlain's Fish Market Grill, Chamberlain's Steak and Chop House), Adam West (formerly of Jeroboam, Dragonfly), Bruno Davaillon (Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek), and Abraham Salum (Komali, Salum).
Plus workshops: “Knife Skills” by Paul Hellman and Gunter Wilhelm, “Kitchen Feng Shui” by The Jelly Queens, “Cheese 101” by Rich Rogers of Scardello Cheese, and “Easy Chocolate for Home Entertaining” by Sue Williams of Dr. Sue’s Chocolates.
And yes, there will be samples.
General admission tickets are $24.50, and kids ages 4-12 are $12.50. Kids under 4 are free. GA tickets give participants access to the 150 booths and live demonstrations. Additional tickets are needed for a meet and greet with Deen and Flay, with prices ranging from $65 to $400. Details here.
