— About two months ago, 6-year-old Libby Serber began the adventure of her life in a battle against cancer, and it has brought an entire community together. Mama’s Party presents Team Libby, an evening of family fun benefiting a very special little girl and her family. Join Team Libby for a night of entertainment on Monday, June 11 at Dallas Children’s Theater’s Rosewood Center for Family Arts.

Mama’s Party, founded by singer Amy Stevenson, is a local entertainment group. “I love getting people up in front of audiences to do what I love to do -- entertain!” she said. When Stevenson and several other local performers got together to brainstorm about how they could help the Serber family, Team Libby was born. “It truly takes a village to create a dynamite show, and it is going to be great!” Stevenson said.

The outpouring of love and support the Serber family has received these last couple of months astonishes Libby’s mother, actress Cara Serber. “Grateful. Overwhelmed. Stunned. Amazed. I have run out of words. The kindness I have received in the last 8 weeks gives me absolute faith in humanity. To have a heart so full of love and gratitude in the darkest time of my life is the greatest gift I could receive,” she says. Stevenson has designed Act I of the show to entertain Libby. Act II will uplift and inspire Cara and Libby’s father, Jeff.

Team Libby will be an evening of family-friendly fare including music, Disney princesses, clowns, dancing, raffle prizes, and an auction. Many popular DFW performers are donating their time to be part of the line-up including BJ Cleveland, Gary Floyd, Denise Lee, Sara & Tony Martin, Marisa Diotalevi, Doug Miller, and more. Auction and raffle prize opportunities include theater tickets, restaurant gifts, paintings, a pair of Sugar Ray Leonard’s boxing gloves, and a Bob Lilley signed jersey. Every penny raised from the event will go to the Serber family to help cover expenses for Libby’s treatment.

Don’t miss an evening of inspirational entertainment -- all for a great cause!

Doors open at 6 p.m. for raffle, bidding, and lobby fun. The show starts at 7 p.m. featuring some of DFW’s top entertainers. A $10 per person donation is requested. No reservations necessary. For additional information, call 214-978-0110.

Hey, it's fun.
It's air conditioned.
