UPDATED: America’s Got Talent premieres Monday, May 14
Howard Stern was added to the lineup.
Stern, who joined the show in December as the new judge of the summer competition series replacing Piers Morgan, will join judges Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne, and host Nick Cannon.
America's Got Talent has hosted auditions in two cities per month. Last week they were in St. Louis (which Stern described on his Sirius radio show as being "in worse shape than Detroit") and in February, they were in Los Angeles (where he was deemed "nicer" than expected).
Austin is the closest they'll get to Dallas.
Stern said on his show -- which he's still doing three days a week -- that much of the time on these trips is spent sitting around waiting, and that Austin will be even worse.
"This trip is so retarded," he said. "They decided to do a photo shoot, but it's on Friday at 4 p.m. So I'll fly out Thursday and sit around all day and wait for photo shoot. I will be sitting in his hotel room during the day Friday."
UPDATE: The America's Got Talent premiere airs on Monday May 14, with a two-hour show at 7 p.m.
