Just in time for Mother’s Day, Addison bar searches for “hottest mom”

Those who bring a pic of themselves with their child get $1 off all drinks.

This Mother's Day, we suggested brunch. We went out on a limb a little bit when we joked that only the hippest moms would want to hit up the North Texas Beer Festival. Seems we failed to mention another mom's day event: MILF Hunter Weekend at McFadden's in Addison.

The two-night event on Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12 was scheduled specifically to coincide with Mother's Day, "in appreciation that moms can be mothers and still be hot," said Brittany Hawkins, marketing assistant for McFadden's.

Friday night is Round 1, when crowd participation and at-the-door votes will be collected for the bar's favorite mom. Already, eight women have entered the contest, and their photos have been posted to Facebook. (Note that the direct links to their bios on McFadden's website do not work; McFadden's staff has been notified.)

Saturday night is Round 2, when judges will crown "the hottest mom in Texas." The moms will likely be required to stand on the bar one or both nights to show themselves off for the audience and the judges. Walk-up contestants are welcome, Hawkins said.

The winning mom gets a trip to Disney World.
