Aurora Room to open inside Bailey’s Prime Plus at Park Lane
Taking over the private dining space.
DALLAS The recently announced partnership between chef Avner Samuel and restaurateur Ed Bailey has produced its first offspring: The Aurora Room, a restaurant-within-a-restaurant at Bailey's Prime Plus at the Shops at Park Lane. Sortof like a chef's table, but with its own name.

The original Aurora restaurant was an intimate and chic space that featured artistic etched glass panels, neutral micro-suede fabric walls with highly skilled waiters serving plates in unison under silver, porcelain or glass domes. Their highly acclaimed seasonal menu focused on only the finest and freshest ingredients including caviar, foie gras, truffles, lobster, langoustine, lamb, rabbit, and duck.
I remember a lot of foie gras and truffles. Too much foie gras and truffles, in fact.
The Aurora room takes over the private dining space at Bailey’s Prime Plus where it recreates the atmosphere of the original restaurant with recognizable décor touches.
Samuel said that he continues to receive requests for the Aurora cuisine. He and his culinary partner Chef Jon Stevens will host an Aurora Room dinner on June 8 featuring a 7-course tasting menu, for $125 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Reservations are required and can by made by calling the Bailey’s Prime Plus Shops at Park Lane location at 214-750-8100.
