— Artists performing at the highly-anticipated indie show called Gorilla Vs. Bear Festival at the Granada Theater on July 28 were released on Saturday night. Bands are:

  • Glass Candy -- electronic -- Portland
  • Chromatics -- electronic -- Portland
  • Taken By Trees -- indie folk -- Sweden
  • Twin Sister -- indie -- New York
  • Laurel Halo -- indie -- Brooklyn
  • A.Dd+ -- hip-hop -- Dallas
  • DJ Sober -- DJ -- Dallas

The lineup was flashed on the Granada's screen during the M83 show Saturday night.

The second-annual festival is named for the revered Dallas music blog Gorilla Vs. Bear. The inaugural GvsB Festival featured White Denim plus the debut of new local band Preteen Zenith, among other performers. For indie music lovers, it was a don't-miss show.

For the 2012 gig, all the $15 early bird tickets were snatched up, but more tickets will go on sale at an undisclosed date.
