Want to be a Dallas Mavericks dancer?
First-round auditions are July 14.
DALLAS 5 ... 6 ... 7 ... 8! If you're in the market to be a Dallas Mavericks dancer (and it's probably harder than it looks) auditions are at 9 a.m. July 14 at the Gilley's complex in Dallas. Entrants must be high school graduates, at least 18 years old.
They also ask that applicants are "talented, energetic, physically fit, and love to perform in front of large crowds." It probably helps if you're pretty.
Dancers chosen will perform at all home games at the American Airlines Center, as well as represent the Mavericks at events in North Texas.
