Scott Murray joins weekend lineup on KLIF-AM 570 in Dallas
Will debut Sunday at 7 p.m.
DALLAS KLIF-AM 570 announced the addition of broadcaster Scott Murray to its weekend lineup: The Scott Murray Show will debut on Sunday at 7 p.m. to focus on "difference-makers, athletes, entertainers, and other individuals who give back to the local community."
A release summarizes the show as "talking about music or the arts, medicine or sports, leadership skills or philanthropic endeavors from both individuals and corporate America," that will incorporate calls from listeners.
Murray recalls in the release when he first got started in broadcasting at 570 KLIF, then again years later when he filled in for Norm Hitzges.
Murray, a former anchor and sports director at NBC 5 (KXAS-TV), hosts the weekly public affairs/philanthropic program Talk Street on Channel 5. He's the author of Whatever It Takes and Bring Out The BEST and CEO of Murray Media, a production company.
The Scott Murray will air weekly Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. CST on the "newly branded" KLIF 570 News and Information in Dallas and worldwide on KLIF.com.

Why would someone as credible as Scott Murry join a station as stupid and incredible as klif? Sad for Murry.

KLIF has some good programming on Saturdays. I listen to Ed Wallace there every weekend.
