The Gerber baby is all grown up

We can see the resemblance between the baby from the 1930s and the woman who is now in her 80s.

Gerber baby Ann Turner Cook is now in her 80s.

The Gerber baby. Ever since you were about 6 months old and you made that big leap from milk to solids, you have seen that cute, little face. Just the mention of Gerber brings to memory that baby, right?

Have you ever wondered who is that cute baby on the packaging of Gerber products? Her name is Ann and she started modeling in 1927, it was then when a family friend asked if she could use Ann as a model. She became the first Gerber baby in 1928; in 1931, the portrait was trademarked and she has been the face of every Gerber product ever since.

When you compare photos you can still tell that Ann was the Gerber baby. The rosy cheeks, the eyebrows … yeah, I see it.

Ann now lives in Tampa, Fla., and she’s the mother of four grown children. You can read more about her and the new Gerber baby here.

I would remove picture # 8.. It isn't flattering of the people or the food.
