Reports: Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez split

Gossip sites were abuzz over the weekend with reports that hometown star Selena Gomez and her ultra-famous boyfriend, Justin Bieber, have split up. (You can almost hear the Beliebers rejoicing, can’t you?)
People.com reports that Gomez, a 20-year-old Grand Prairie native, and Bieber, 18, broke up about a week ago. They had been dating for about two years, having made their relationship public in February 2011.
