Tell your arteries to look away: Taco Bell announces baked potato burrito
And cookie sandwiches!
The good people at Taco Bell, for some odd reason, think we need even more impetus to visit their establishment. Don’t they know they’ve had us hooked since the Crunchwrap Supreme?
They're adding new items to both their desserts and snack menu.
Joining Taco Bell’s
soo soo good cinnamon twists and carmel apple empanadas will be churros and cookie sandwiches. Churros. At a Mexican food restaurant. Genius!
On the savory side of the taste spectrum, Taco Bell will introduce regionally tested items like the “XXL Steak Nachos” and a “smothered burrito.”
And that is not nearly all. Have you ever wondered what a loaded baked potato in a tortilla would look and taste like? Wonder no more. Taco Bell’s “loaded grillers,” which are nachos, chicken, or loaded baked potato wrapped in a tortilla are making their appearance in the coming weeks. No photos of these yet but we are sure it most closely resembles a big, delicious mess.
All of this God sent, grease soaked amazingness is in hopes that Taco Bell can entice fast food customers to visit their locations between meals.
Considering that Taco Bell was the same brand that invented the term “fourth meal,” it seems as if the fast food chain wants us to live at its franchises.
To which, we happily oblige.
