Emmitt Smith earns perfect score on Dancing With the Stars
"And, boy, can you handle your women!" said Carrie Ann Inaba.

Tom Bergeron waits for the judges' response as the crowd cheers for Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke.
Cowboys Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith was able to “handle his women,” and he and ex-Cowboys cheerleader Melissa Rycroft both earned perfect scores on Monday night’s Dancing with the Stars: All Stars.
The high scores couldn’t have come at a better time. There is a double elimination Tuesday night. Judge’s scores count for half; viewers votes the other half.
This week, Emmitt also received a pep talk from former teammate Daryl “Moose” Johnston. (Any chance these guys could give the current Cowboys a talking to, too?)
Said Moose: “I go back to when he walked in his rookie year and said, ‘I want to be the NFL’s all-time leading rusher when I retire.’ And I’m like, ‘Wow!’ ... When you decide you want something you’re difficult to stop. Just keep tapping into that.”
Smith didn’t tap into enough in his first dance, a Viennese waltz, which disappointed judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who thought Smith wasn’t pushing himself.
“I feel like you’re riding in a comfort zone. I want to see more impact from you,” she said.
Judge Len Goodman disagreed: “This man puts the ooh in smooth.”
Smith still earned a 9, 9.5, and 9.5 despite mixed reviews.
For his second dance, Smith paired with two female pros in a salsa and turned in a perfect performance.
Said Inaba: “This time you were in the red hot, spicy, jalapeno zone. And, boy, can you handle your women!”
Said Goodman: “It was like handling two yo-yos at the same time. ... Knockout.”
But the ex-Cowboys cheerleader stole the show. Rycroft earned two perfect scores and got the pimp spot as the last dancer of the show. She has the highest combined judge’s score of the seven dancers left, which she might need more, because Emmitt’s fanbase appears to be huge.
After Rycroft’s trio paso doble, Goodman said, “Of all the celebrities, you impress me the most.”
Said Judge Bruno Tonioli: “Jaw-dropping, whip-cracking queen bee. You were flamboyantly fabulous.”

I am a little bit scared for Emmitt tonight with a double elimination coming. I am pretty sure Kirstie will be one of the eliminations, but I think it comes down to Emmitt or Gilles for the second one. I was talking to a coworker at DISH who thinks it will be Gilles because Emmitt has the support of all of the football fans. I really hope so because I am sure he has what it takes to win and just had an off week. I nearly missed the show last night, but thankfully the Hopper that I just got from DISH recorded it with Primetime Anytime. It is so nice being able to keep up with everything on during primetime on the four major networks without having to set any timers. I am glad that I caught it because the trio dances were a ton of fun.
