Lisa Whelchel of Survivor says she has West Nile Virus
No word on whether she got the virus in the Phillipinnes, where the show was taped over the summer.

Lisa Whelchel, a former TV teen star currently living in Dallas, Texas, competes on Survivor: Philippines.
FLOWER MOUND — Flower Mound’s Lisa Whelchel, who is competing on this season of the CBS reality show Survivor, says she has West Nile Virus.
Whelchel posted to her Twitter and Facebook accounts, "Dr. just called with blood test results...I have West Nile. Ugh. I'm fine, just tired. Takes a year to recover. :("
No word on whether she got the virus in the Phillipinnes, where the show was taped over the summer.
Whelchel is best known for her role as Blair on the 1980s sitcom, The Facts of Life.
She more recently has been known as a North Texas mom with the book The Busy Mom’s Guide to Prayer.
