Help The O’s fund their next record by becoming an executive producer
They'll even throw in a koozie.
DALLAS We here at BIJLM would most definitely actually produce an album, if given a chance and made fully aware of what exactly an executive producer does. Heck, we’d probably actually be in a band, if we had any musical talent. But we don’t. So we have a blog.
The O’s, however, have oodles of musical talent. We should know — we’ve been to approximately 80,000 O’s shows and listened to their albums more than a million times. So, when the magic of the Internet gave us the chance to become an executive producer on their next album, we were in!
But now, The O’s need your help. For just $20, you get an O’s koozie, stickers and their new album before anyone else. Think of it as penance for that last album you “got from a friend” or perhaps the best damn way to support a local musician ever invented.
We’ll even be putting some of our own skin in this game with a $500 donation, getting The O’s just a little bit closer to their $20,000 goal.
Stop reading this post. Go support local music. We’ll catch you on the B side.

in the 21st century, the need for thousands to produce an album just doesn't exist anymore. people should know this. Bleach got made for 600 bucks. and that was in the late eighties. just saying.

But the need for thousands to consume said album does. If they're giving the band money anyway, why not get some warm fuzzies by knowing that the money directly helped create the album?

let them buy their own drinks. or anything else it takes to produce warm enough fuzzies to record.
