Rockwall PD beefs up customer service with new website and Facebook page
The new social media platforms will offer annual reports, photos, records, registered sex offender pages, citizen complaint forms and more.
ROCKWALL The Rockwall Police Department, headed by Police Chief Mark Moeller, has launched a new website and Facebook page to provide residents with timely information and to establish more community partnerships.
Welch explained with the increase of social media throughout the world, it has become crucial for law enforcement agencies to develop new ways of staying in touch with the communities they serve.
“The Rockwall Police Department is dedicated to keeping the open lines of communication with the community in order to continue promoting success through community partnerships,” he said. “To assist this goal, we have re-designed and created a new website address with features that will allow users to obtain public information by utilizing social media plug-ins, i.e. Facebook, Crime Alerts, MYPD and Rockwall County Crime Stoppers.”
“As you explore our website, you will find many opportunities to contact the Rockwall Police Department,” he added. “Our goal is to provide a higher level of customer service to the citizens of Rockwall with current and accurate information.”
The website and Facebook page also include annual reports, photos, police records, registered sex offender pages, citizen complaint forms and more.
