Video: Polyphonic Spree is already gearing up for Christmas
It's been 10 years since The Spree's first Holiday Extravaganza.
DALLAS — The Polyphonic Spree was the talk of Tuesday morning, when about 6,000 tickets for their concert on October 27 kicking off the opening of Klyde Warren Park sold out in less than an hour.
Tuesday afternoon, Kirtland Records sent word that the big band is already gearing up for the holidays, with the release of Holidaydream: Sounds of the Holidays Vol. One on October 22. Hey, that's just a few days before the big park gig!
The band is releasing one video per week until Christmas featuring tunes from the holiday disc. Here's the first video:

The Spree is also embarking on a six-city tour in December in honor of the 10th anniversary of their Holiday Extravaganza shows. They end in Dallas at Lakewood Theater on December 22. The all-ages show features two sets: a Christmas concert and a straight-up rock show.
