Davis campaign claims Shelton allegations lack proof

Pants on fire?

Davis campaign claims Shelton’s recent attacks lack proof

— State Sen. Wendy Davis, D-Fort Worth, accuses state Rep. Mark Shelton, R-Fort Worth, of deceiving voters in her latest television ad in the SD-10 race.

In the ad, Davis' campaign cites reports from North Texas news outlets questioning the accuracy of a Shelton ad released this month that charged Davis with supporting higher taxes and having questionable ethics.

The ad began airing Friday in the Fort Worth area, according to Davis' campaign.
