Female hound lost near Lower Greenville in Dallas


The owners are offering a reward and have started a website to find the dog.

— A female hound dog was lost in the Lakewood/Lower Greenville area of Dallas on Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Abbey is described as friendly and a "runner's companion."

Abbey is brown with white feet and a white chest. She weighs 55 pounds. A reward of $250 is being offered for Abbey's return. Call 972-897-4625 or go to http://www.findabbey.blog.com/ if you know of her whereabouts.

Old Settlers' Park and Recreation Center

On May 22, 2013, the City of McKinney sponsored an open Pickleball Tournament at the Old Settler's Recreation Center that turned out to be totally unorganized. The courts were not prepared ahead of time and the tournament brackets had to be completed by an outside player instead of already being completed by the sponsor. The wait time between matches was at times over two hours. My group from Denton arrived at the Tournament at 8:30 AM as instructed by the sponsor for registration.
