Former Dallasite Khloe Kardashian: Potential X Factor judge?

Because she has so much ... singing experience?

Just when I thought my days writing about the Kardashians were over, the pop culture gods throw a wrench in my plans. Ever since Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom moved from Dallas the closest I’ve been to the Kardashians has been listening to a Taylor Swift song, which reminded me of Kanye West storming in to take her mic, which reminded me of Kim Kardashian, which again made me wonder how fame works.

TMZ reported earlier that Khloe Kardashian is the front-runner for one of the two host positions on The X Factor. On a phone call with reporters yesterday, Simon Cowell said the hosts should be officially announced in the next 7 days and that it will be a man and a woman. He also said they were leaning towards two people with no hosting experience. He must’ve noticed how well Steve Jones, a former host, did last season.

To Khloe’s advantage, she is the least annoying of the Kardashians, and for what I have seen of her --(Confession: I watched two seasons of Keeping up with the Kardashians on Netflix … I know.) -- she is the most down-to-earth and fun of the bunch. Hopefully this makes for good TV.

Sources say that Khloe did a screen test that went over well with the executives, including Cowell.
