$4,000 reward offered to help find person who poisoned two Boxers in Fort Worth
The Boxers didn't recover.
FORT WORTH On August 22, someone fed chicken and steak laced with antifreeze -- either over or through the fence -- to two Boxers who were playing in their backyard. The dogs were quickly rushed to the veterinarian, but despite receiving round-the-clock care for three agonizing days, they could not recover.
The two dogs were named Nala and Bruno. Nala’s owners were fostering Bruno for Legacy Boxer Rescue. That’s them in the photo above. Now, LBR is asking for the public’s help finding out who did this.
According to the group, the Fort Worth Police Department has followed all leads and done their best to find the person(s) responsible, but to no avail. So LBR has put up a $4,000 reward and they’re asking the public for help. LBR volunteers are going door-to-door in the neighborhood where the incident happened, passing out reward flyers and warning the neighbors.
You can help. If you live in Fort Worth, download and share the flyer in your neighborhood and on Facebook and Twitter.
