TMZ reports that Fiona Apple was arrested at a border stop in Texas Wednesday after authorities claim they found hashish on the “Criminal” singer’s tour bus.

It all went down in Sierra Blanca, Texas, off of interstate 10 -- the same area where Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg, and Armie Hammer have been arrested for drugs in the past.

Apple's bus was stopped for inspection and cops turned up hash, a strong form of cannabis. The 35-year-old singer was arrested for possession and is currently being held at Hudspeth County Jail.

Apple is scheduled to perform at WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma at 8 p.m. on Saturday. We’re waiting for official word from the WinStar on whether the show will still go on. We'll update this post as more information becomes available.

UPDATE: A spokesperson with Koch Communications says the WinStar show will still happen as scheduled.

Do any of these people just tell the cops to go get a warrant first?

Just another idiot celebrity being a stellar role model...yikes. Throw their rear ends in jail, prederably in Maracopa county, AZ and let Sherrif Joe have 'em for a few years

What do you think?
