Belly & Trumpet will serve its inaugural brunch on April 7
It's the most important meal of the midday.
DALLAS It's not hard to find a great brunch in Dallas, and on April 7, Uptown is adding another player to its "wakey-wakey" roster. Belly & Trumpet replaced the Bowery back in mid-February with superstar chef, Brian Zenner -- who pulls double duty as chef de cuisine at Oak -- behind the culinary wheel.
Chef Zenner's menu already stirs the pot with forward-thinking dishes that might just drag Dallas, kicking and screaming, into the future of cuisine: Heart tartare, anyone? The brunch menu will carry through with Belly & Trumpet's share-able, small plates ethos, including such items as French Toast with Apple & Mint, drizzled with Maple Syrup and Honeydew Mimosa, available by the pitcher. Brunch will run from 11 am to 3 pm on Sundays. Check out the release below for more details.
Located on McKinney Ave. in Uptown, Belly & Trumpet is a celebration of food and drink. Featuring the carefully balanced and innovative creations of Executive Chef Brian Zenner, the menu is comprised of delightful and creative shared plates.
“We are striving to extend beyond the ordinary in everything we do. We are challenging ourselves to be inventive and thoughtful, often taking a classic favorite and adding an exciting twist. Regardless, our primary goal is for our food to be consistently soulful and delicious, “ explains Zenner.
Situated in a quaint little house with a comfortable patio, Belly & Trumpet is the perfect restaurant to socialize over shared delectable dishes, creative cocktails, and an eclectic and interesting wine list.
