Flower Mound will hold open forum for town council and school board candidates on April 20
Citizens may submit questions online or in person.
The Cross Timbers Gazette will host a candidate forum on Saturday, April 20, at 6 p.m. at Flower Mound Town Hall.
Candidates will be given the opportunity to talk about their background and experience, discuss issues they feel are most important, and answer questions submitted by area residents.
Questions for the candidates can be submitted in advance to the newspaper between now and April 18 by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Those attending the event will also have the opportunity to submit questions for the candidates.
The Cross Timbers Gazette reporter John LaVine will moderate the forum.
The event will be videotaped and rebroadcast on FMTV, the town’s government access cable channel.
FMTV is available on Time Warner channel 16, Grande Communications channel 12, and channel 42 on Verizon's FiOS TV. The channel is also available for online viewing here.
Early voting begins on April 29 for the May 11 municipal and school board elections.
