Sean Lowe landed in dreaded bottom two on Dancing With the Stars
With Tuesday's Dancing With the Stars results — which placed Dallas native Sean Lowe and partner Peta Murgatroyd in jeopardy of being eliminated — it was if the nation was sending him a clear challenge: Dude, do you want that tacky yet somehow-very-much-coveted disco ball trophy, or do you not?
It’s likely that the revelation that Lowe missed a full day of rehearsals last week due to some vague, unexplained conflict didn’t sit well with folks. If you blatantly skip a grueling day of practice in this ultra-serious competition, it had better be for a very good reason. A reason that includes the word “hospital.” Not just, “Oooh, I couldn’t make it that day.”
Still, he pulled through to another week — but just barely. Team Murgalo was in the bottom two. But going home instead were boxer Victor Ortiz and Lindsay Arnold, who had basically been in jeopardy since the season started.
“I had a blast and I made great friends,” Ortiz said before his exit. “At the end of the day, it was a heck of an experience. I’m happy to get this far … and I definitely need some dance moves!”
