New shops coming to NorthPark: Spanx, Tory Burch, See’s Candies, more
The mall will open nine new stores by April 2014.
DALLAS Ready your shopping bags and walking shoes — shopaholics will soon have several new boutiques to peruse at NorthPark Center. The mall announced a slew of new openings over the next nine months that will satisfy coffee cravings and designer brand wish lists.
In the coming months, expect to find the following retailers:
- Green House Market restaurant
- Tourbillon Boutique
- J Crew Men’s Shop
- Tory Burch
- See’s Candies
The nine new shops will occupy more than 13,000 square feet of existing retail space. Here's some extra info about some of the most interesting openings.
Rolex (coming fall 2013) — Rolex will soon roll out the first brand-specific watch shop in the area. Attached to Eiseman Jewels on the first floor of NorthPark, Rolex will occupy an 800-square-foot space that will no doubt house an extensive collection of sparkling wrist candy as well as a private viewing area for customers. Eiseman is also offering complimentary engraving and cleaning to those who purchase here.
See’s Candies (coming November 2013) — Just in time for the holiday season, See’s Candies will open its fourth area location. For years, the California-based chocolate company flirted with Texas by opening temporary Christmas candy kiosks, and in April 2012 finally planted its roots at Stonebriar Centre Mall and North East Mall. Soon, Dallas proper can get its sugar high too.
Nespresso (coming winter 2013) — Sure, you can find a Nespresso coffee maker at department and specialty cookware stores around town, but you’ll be pressed to find a cup of fresh brew. On the first floor of NorthPark between Neiman Marcus and Dillard’s, shoppers will be able to find both when the Switzerland-based coffee company opens its first North Texas name brand store. There will even be a “light menu” of eats in a café-like setting.
Spanx (coming February 2014) — The illusion of a tummy-tuck is much cheaper and less painful than the actual thing. Spanx is opening its first North Texas retail shop inside NorthPark to help you work that kind of magic. The brand’s fitted products range from swimsuits to bras to active wear. And they also sell undershirts for men.
Tory Burch (coming April 2014) — This coveted designer known for her injection of color and pattern will fit right in with the vibe of NorthPark when it opens early next year. Though its location in the mall has yet to be decided, the shop promises an array of shoes, handbags, accessories, and even a line of fragrances and beauty products in conjunction with Estee Lauder.
