Vote: Rockwall author fundraising for movie based on sci-fi series
His Time Travel Academy book series was an Amazon.com top seller in 2009.
ROCKWALL Want to help a Rockwall-based science fiction writer and author of the Time Travel Academy series of books – one of which was among Amazon.com’s top 10 sellers as of May, 2009 – to fund his first movie called Time Travel Wars?
Just go online and vote for Reginald Williams’ sports apparel company, called Celeritas Sports, in Walmart’s new “Get On The Shelf” contest, in which the general public votes online to determine which new products will be placed on its shelves.
According to Williams, if he can get enough votes for Celeritas Sports and sell his products in Walmart, he then expects to be able to raise enough money so he can fund his first movie.

“My purpose for starting Celeritas Sports was to help fund my book-to-movie projects,” said Williams. “Having Celeritas Sports featured on Walmart for a national competition is like a dream come true.”
“If everything goes as planned,” he continued, “I plan to film my first movie during the spring or summer of 2014. The movie is an adaptation of my third book in the Time Travel Academy series, called the Time Travel Wars.
He said the word “Celeritas” is a Latin-based word that can be translated as “fast” or “speedy.” It’s the “c” in the famous Albert Einstein equation, E=mc2. He trademarked the name and turned it into a sports and apparel company.
To vote, visit https://getontheshelf.walmart.com, and then type in the key word “Celeritas” in the Search option in the upper right corner of the page.
After you see and click on what appears to be a video box labeled Celeritas, you will see the word “Vote,” which you should click on. It may ask you if Get On The Shelf can access your Facebook info.
Walmart allows only one vote per day per person.
If you’d like to meet Williams – aka Reggie – or learn more about his books, movie, or apparel business, you’ll likely see him helping customers at the main Rockwall Post Office, where he has worked for several years.
