Dallas girl Courtney Kerr returns to TV with her own show, Courtney Loves Dallas
She’s still doling out clever one-liners that charmed last time.
The most lovable character on the one-season Bravo series Most Eligible Dallas now has her own show on the same channel. Courtney Loves Dallas premiered Thursday featuring Uptown Dallas girl Courtney Kerr, who’s battling life as an unmarried 30-year-old in Texas.
It’s actually an interesting idea: Rather than focus on the young, restless lives of college beauty queens or the crises of Botoxed cougars, Courtney Loves Dallas looks at an age group we don’t talk about much. Kerr talks about it plenty: “My eggs are going to dry up,” she said in an interview on the show. “My mom’s never going to have grandkids.”
The first 30-minute episode focused on Kerr’s escapades around town: to a relatively mild Sushi Axiom bar with a girlfriend, taking fashion photos on McKinney Avenue and smiling stylishly at a party at Sundown at Granada.
For those who remember Kerr’s on-again, off-again thing with cast member Matt Nordgren from Most Eligible Dallas, Kerr’s still drying her tears. She calls Nordgren “the love of her life” though bestie Tori tells Kerr, “he toyed with you.” We wished they’d just let him go.
We’re more interested in Kerr’s adorable fashion sense. And judging by the previews, we’ll see much more of it – and even perhaps a nude photo shoot.
