Boxwood Tap + Grill: It's couples night at Boxwood on New Year's Eve. Couples share the first, second and fourth course and choose their own third course. Canary by Gorji: This Addison-area restaurant serves a four-course dinner on New Year's Eve. Appetizers are a grilled, chilled avocado or feta with pomegranate on toasted pita. Salads include choice of spinach, berries and pomegranate vinaigrette; or Caesar. Entrees are prime beef filet, salmon and shrimp, lamb and quail, or wild boar tenderloin and scallop. CRU Food & Wine Bar: Three locations of CRU host a three-course dinner on New Year's Eve, with live music at the Plano and Allen locations. Dee Lincoln Steak and Burger Bar: The Uptown restaurant from restaurateur Dee Lincoln, who founded Del Frisco's, hosts two New Year's Eve dinners -- a $50 per person meal and a $90 per person meal. The $50 meal includes dishes like bacon-wrapped shrimp, mussels, roasted chicken and striped bass. The $90 meal includes scallops, jumbo prawns, rack of lamb, roasted duck, and surf and turf. Gas Monkey: The new Dallas restaurant opened by Richard Rawlings of the Discovery Channel show Fast N' Loud is hosting New Year's Eve dinner at 6 and 9 p.m. Dec. 31. Hotel St Germain: This restaurant turns into "Club St Germain" on New Year's Eve. They promise a Hollywood night club ambience for dinner, dancing and drinks. Kitchen LTO: Short for Kitchen "limited time only," this new restaurant in the Trinity Groves development of West Dallas is hosting a five-course New Year's Eve meal. The dinner starts with choice of marble potatoes with caviar or tuna tartare. Second and third courses include lobster streudel, seared foie gras or grapefruit and arugula salad. Entrees are braised shortribs, leg of lamb or gnocchi. The meal finishes with dessert, a "shared NYELTO dome." $99 per person for dinner and a glass of sparkling wine.
