Sarah Savage posted this photo on Instagram, with the caption, "Can't wait to be back on the beach."

Anything relating to Johnny Manziel (aka Johnny Football) seems newsworthy these days, so it is no surprise whatsoever that the Internet is all abuzz over the fact that Johnny’s girlfriend, Sarah Savage, posted Instagram photos of herself doing some bikini modeling.

Savage, in addition to being a part-time model and Johnny Football’s girlfriend, is a student at Texas A&M.

Graham Watson on Yahoo Sports’ Dr. Saturday blog points out that the timing of the bikini pic “seems interesting, especially since photos of (Katherine) Webb, girlfriend of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron, practicing her diving recently surfaced on the Internet.”

Perhaps, Watson speculates, Savage is trying to keep pace with Webb — who famously made TV announcer Brent Musberger go all googly-eyed — in some kind of game of QB girlfriend one-upmanship. Intriguing theory: Perhaps Savage is angling to get in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue too.
