Will Carrollton’s Alex Reid squeak by again tonight on Biggest Loser?

The trainers have said she doesn't work hard enough.

Alex Reid, 24, of Carrollton will take on the challenge of her life: Jillian Michaels.

It’s been a topsy-turvy time for Alex Reid, a 24-year-old Carrollton resident, on the current season of NBC’s The Biggest Loser.

She toiled in invisibility for the first several episodes, finally got some screen time when she had a bit of a breakdown, and has spent the next several episodes battling the trainers’ perception that she has a bad attitude in the gym and doesn’t work as hard as she should. She has consistently had lower weight-loss numbers than most of the other competitors, and in fact has lost the least weight, percentage-wise, among all the other remaining competitors.

The breakdown of the final six:

Gina: Starting weight 245, current weight 180. 26.5% lost

Joe: Starting weight 364, current weight 273. 25% lost

Danni: Starting weight 258, current weight 194. 24.8% lost

Jeff: Starting weight 388, current weight 308. 20.6% lost

Jackson: Starting weight 328, current weight 261. 20.4% lost

Alex: Starting weight 240, current weight 195. 18.8% lost

So the obvious question this week is, will Alex get it together and stay around for another episode? The competition is getting pretty fierce. I don’t think Alex can afford another subpar week in the gym. In last week’s episode, Alex’s work in the gym frustrated super-trainer Jillian Michaels to no end, so Jillian set out on a mission to get to the bottom of it. Check out the therapy session in the video below.

Tune in to tonight’s episode to see if Alex can make it through another week on the Biggest Loser ranch.
