Overall men's first place runner Nick DeSantis flexes with his medal at the Superman 5k Run at Caruth Lake Park on December 29, 2012. The medals are custom made, and according to event organizers, attract runners from all over the country because of their uniqueness.
ROCKWALL Clark Kent, the Hulk, and plenty of young Supermen came together Saturday morning for the Superman 5K in Rockwall. Dozens of people dressed the part for the fun run.
The medals the winners receive are custom made and attract runners from all over the country because of their uniqueness.
The event benefits Able Racing Team Charities, which helps pair able-bodied runners with runners who have disabilities such as cerebral palsy and autism. The charity also raises money to buy race wheelchairs for disabled runners who do not currently own them.
