Photos: Larry Hagman’s gorgeous mountaintop home for sale at half-price
He called it "Heaven," and we can see why.
The home features a 40-foot indoor saltwater pool with retractable roof.
"Heaven" isn't too far away: In fact, it sits upon 43 acres in Ojai, California, where beloved Dallas star Larry Hagman lived on an estate valued at $11 million. Dallas News reports that the retreat is also occasionally called "Greenfork" due to its cutting-edge environmentally-conscious sustainability, and while the mountain top property has been on the market since 2009, its price was recently reduced to $6.5 million.
Little of what's left is Hagman's -- much of his and his wife Maj's belongings were auctioned in June 2011 -- the estate's new price will make one lucky millionaire very happy, and the rest of us wishing we were able to snag J.R. Ewing's immense and immensely beautiful haven.
